Our mission at the Team20 Foundation is to enrich and encourage families in impoverished communities by using education as a tool to raise awareness.
I would like to thank you for your interest and continued support of my efforts to improve the conditions of our communities. Life dealt me my cards and I was able to choose how I would play my hand. Through the trials and tribulations life has presented me with I have been blessed enough to continue to overcome many obstacles and it's the team that you surround yourself with that help you along the way. Growing up in the inner-city of Cleveland, Ohio I was often faced with many people trying to pull me in the wrong directions. Having my mother work several jobs while she and my grandmother raised me and 4 other boys and my father being incarcerated, there were a lot of people depending on me. I had to grow up fast which meant recognizing that I had to work that much harder to resist the many temptations to play the wrong cards. Not only did I excel in sports but the classroom became my playing field. My mother and grandmother told me to get all that I could from a free education because it will take you wherever you want to go. I took that advice and ran with it graduating high school early allowing me to afford the many opportunities that many said wouldn't be possible. This is why education is so important to my mission to make communities more productive environments. Education allows you the opportunity to change your life and those around you. The Team20 Foundation and its programs are built around events that educate and raise awareness to those who may not realize that they are capable of making a difference. Collectively as a team we can continue to prove that "The Possibilities Are Endless"
