Donte Whitner of the Buffalo Bills Expands Community Out Reach to Ghana, West Africa.

Donte Whitner strong safety of the Buffalo Bills enthusiastically enters his second season with objectives that will influence the community. Donte stresses the importance of education. Thus far, he has giving back to kids in need in Cleveland, Ohio Public Schools. He has given school supplies and school uniforms to students in need. But he could not stop there. After reading an article about Yvonne Pointer and her trip to Ghana, West Africa and finding out about her late daughter, Gloria Pointer, a teenager who was brutally raped and murdered on December 6, 1984 in Cleveland, Ohio. He learned that like himself education was extremely important to her. So it was no surprise that he wanted to become a part of the Teen Movement Initiative in West Africa. Through this initiative African youths are able to further their education, in Gloria Pointer’s name. Donte is sending over school supplies that will be distributed to kids in need in order to give them a way to reach their dreams. This is the beginning of an era where Donte proves that "The Possibilities Are Endless".
