Long term Tarblooders, Buckeyes, and friends, Donte Whitner of the Buffalo Bills and Troy Smith of the Baltimore Ravens will touch the community in which they grew up in with a Turkey Give-Away. Through each of their foundations, Team20 and Team Smith, the pair will team up once again November 19, 2007. The partnering of the two foundations will provide over 250 Thanksgiving turkeys and some of the trimmings to families in need in the Glenville and surrounding neighborhoods of Cleveland. Sponsors included Hillcrest Foods and Harry Buffalo. With the support of Glenville High School and the community and numerous volunteers will make this event a true community effort. Donte and Troy both stress the importance of teamwork in building a better community and agree that this is the beginning of a long-term tradition.
